  1. good one.. the physical energy required to create that pile of “energy” – will manifest itself not as physical energy when burned.. but as a spiritual, mystic and warming one… Rave on Edward.. see ya soon my friend.

  3. Today at church we talked about the marriage of family and love. When I read today’s post, it brought to mind how we sometimes store up things for “rainy days.” (In this case cold days of Winter). When I think of the energy that went into that pile of wood and how you described its potential energy, I wonder how often people realize that they do this with many things. Like the pretty candle that sits on a shelf collecting dust but seems too pretty to burn (burn it anyway as it was meant to be burned), or that special china that only gets brought out for special occasions (use it anyway because any meal you get to spend with loved ones is a cherished memory to come), or even that dress or suit that only gets paraded around for special occasions (wear it anyway because life is short not to be appreciated fully.) Stack the wood that the dark days of winter may find their way to the light of spring once again by following the heat of your hearth and the joy of your loving family.
