Each year, at the back corner in the garage, he would carefully rummage through a tall and teetering stack of slightly compressed cardboard boxes searching for that special little Christmas display.
It was the first year without him, so an eternally grateful family found within themselves a rejuvenating sentimental bond which lit their undying tradition for the nonce and future generations.

  3. very lovely words, especially during the holidays. Every year as I pull out my decorations and prepare for the holiday, I am brought back in time with the memories of Christmases long ago –as a child, then with my children and with my grandchildren.
