Swirling contrails of orange and black were the wake of our flowing flight that flapped playfully above a lush green grass line as well as frolicking with row after row of prospering corn that stood straight like soldiers at attention.
When our delightful day of whimsical air stream serenading was over, my unpredictable pilot gently descended us with a fluttering fairytale softness upon a magnificent yellow landing pad.

Thank You MichelleMarie! When I took this photo I thought it would be fun to write as if I was on the butterfly for a whimsical ride…

Haha! That’s great. You and I both know I got extremely lucky. My phone was 2″ from the butterfly and it didn’t move.

Oh my gosh! I think this was your best one yet! I felt like I was a butterfly while reading it. I love the photograph too. It matches perfectly. The weather is beastly here in MA today with high temps and humidity, so I’m going to pretend to be a butterfly for the rest of the day, flying and floating above it all.

I can’t remember if you’ve already answered this, but do you write first and then pick the photo, or vice versa? Keep cool Edward!

You are packing more and more into those two sentences (It’s becoming a bit of an art form in itself). I particularly like this one (the prose captured the light flutter).
