This time the quiet air seemed to focus her scattered thoughts, instead of transporting them to muddled longitudes and convoluted cerebral precincts that constantly flickered from just beyond arm’s length.

That’s it, I’m hooked. I only discovered your 2 sentences bog yesterday and I’m really impressed by how poignant each post is, and how beautifully written they are. In this post, your description of her usually scattered thoughts is brilliant. It truly describes what having scattered thoughts feels like! (Not that MY thoughts are ever scattered of course 😉).
